City Dreams

Happy Saturday night!

I thought this post would be quite appropriate for the weekend considering Vegas is the ultimate weekend destination. Though I’ve never been, I can certainly plan out what I’d wear on my dream trip. When creating my #UltimateVegasOutfit I got my outfit inspiration from checking out the Las Vegas hotels on Vegas.com. My mind immediately jumps to sequins, sparkles, night clubs and casinos when I think Vegas, but if I’m honest that just isn’t my style. Ideally, I’d spend the day exploring Downtown Container Park, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art and definitely wouldn’t leave without the Eiffel Tower Experience. Of course, these special occasions call for the perfect outfit to accompany the experience. As of late my style can be defined as classic-meets-girly-and-edgy-all-at-once (that narrows it down, eh?) and I really think this outfit embodies my personality. I’d hope the weather would be warmer than forty degrees and in that case I’d pull out my black leather skirt or classic jumper to do the trick. Considering the circumstances I opted for an all-black outfit including my favorite basic sweater and jeans topped off with my favorite timeless trench and go-to handbag. I also couldn’t imagine myself strutting around Vegas in anything but heels, so my pointed toe stilettos were a must. I accessorized with my layered necklace and a bold red lip to add a glamour-factor to this rather simple look. As I’d transition from day to night I’d certainly want to pay a visit to the Lago next to the Bellagio fountains. This case calls for my favorite little black dress, a few more jewels and tousled curls for a more understated elegant look.

Wow, writing this definitely has me dreaming of Vegas. Visiting this city has found its place at the top of my traveling bucket list ever since. The energy of the environment and extravagant night life is what I’d look forward to seeing most. So my question for you is: what would you wear to Vegas? If you’ve been what have you worn?
