Neutral Prep

Revisiting last weekend, our last stop of the day was in little Coventry Village. The area had beautiful houses that looked like they were straight out of Jane Eyre. The change of scenery was so refreshing and was a relaxing way to end the day. Somewhere between a record shop and a clothing boutique we found this little brick alley at golden hour. It made for a perfect photo op in this preppy outfit. One of the most worn pieces in my closet is this gingham shirt. With an estimated forty to fifty wears in the past two years, you can definitely say I'm in need of a replacement. This summery print paired with a neutral skirt and a statement pearl necklace created just the casual-prep look I was going for. Just like the button up, I've owned this skirt for a good while now. The neutral color and military style are perfect for a mix and match wardrobe like mine. Are there any pieces in your closet you wear over and over?
